The flat is really nice with great view to Vilnius oldtown, and Vilnius Soho (artists district). Fully equiped kitchen, all furniture, renovated, stylish interior, great terace/balcony, parking slot, inside yard, 65sq.m., two bedrooms (one double and one single(but it has a big writing table and can be made in to nice working place)). The photos goes in this order: photos of the apartment, photos of parks and touristic spots within 2 minutes walk from apartment.

Also I would like to discribe Vilnius a bit for you. It is a very mysterious city for most of the western world, it was a really important center for the whole eastern world though. Since medieval time it was a capital city of the bigest european country The Republic or Lithuanian-Polish commonwelth. It was the city where the first european constitution was born (1789 - two years earlyer than the French constitution). Also interesting fact that city was the last frontier of the old Europe religion - Lithuanians were the last pagans to fall under the throne of Rome. In adition the city in marvelous in it's architecture. It is called the north Rome or as they called it in medieval the Sarmatian Rome because of it's uncommon Italian architecture as a contrast to all the north cities with German kind of architecture. Also after soviet occupation the city remained one of the leading cultural spots in region. Maybe all these reasons are why this city had became an inspiration for such writers as Romano Gary, Czeslaw Milosz (nobel prize winner), Thomas Harris (Hanibal Lecter was Lithuanian) etc.
Nontheless this year Vilnius is the european capital of culture and also Lithuania is celebrating it's millenium, so there are really lots of cultural events happening in Vilnius. Also the living in Lithuania is cheap though the quality of products and services is really high. Lots of organic products in nearby market.

100 meters from Centre culturel francais and French embassy http://www.centrefrancais.lt/ All cultural objects, shops, markets, super markets, cinema, park etc. are within 5-10 minutes walk. Nice, intelligent neighbors, mostly families with kids.

We are a young couple from Lithuania. We are going to Paris to study at Paris IV and Paris V universities. And it would be perfect to swap apartment for 6 moths starting with August or September. But if it is too long term for you, shorter term would be also acceptable.

We would like to go to Paris. Not necessery simultanious exchange, dates are flexible
