Brevard is a charming college town population 9,000, with lots of outdoor activities including hiking, backpacking, kayaking, climbing and mountain biking. It is also known for it's Music Center that brings in musicians from all over the world to play, teach and learn music. The town is situated at the base of the Pisgah Forest in the Appalachian Mountains, "The land of waterfalls". Asheville is the closest larger city famous for artists, music, film festivals and great resturaunts. The area is green and lush all year round, with a few days of snow in winter.

My husband is a professor/administrator and I am therapist/counselor. We have a 6 year old boy. We are an active family who enjoys outdoor recreation. We live in Colorado currently and own our house in beautiful NC outside of Asheville. We are interested in spending a year abroad in Chile, working and traveling.
