Maison

Our home was designed and built by ourselves completed 2009. It is very spacious, close to the sea, beaches and shops. All rooms are very large with very high ceilings and cathedral ceilings, a large outdoor covered patio, a 400 square foot balcony and extensive garden with practically every fruit tree you can grow in the Bahamas. Including a banana pit that provides a constant supply of Bananas and Plantain - yum. The living, dining and kitchen are open plan opening directly onto the patio. There are two bathrooms each with both shower and bath. There is also a billiard/pool table.

Quartier

The neighbourhood is a quiet residential area with a very large park located 100 yards away. Shops are only a mile away. Public transport is available a short walk away.

We love anything and everything to do with the sea - sailing (Michelle sails for the Bahamas), wakeboarding and wakeskating, boogie boarding, spearfishing, snorkelling, windsurfing, kayaking. Michelle is a Chartered Engineer who works from home in a spacious office. Jon is an Mechanic (hence the large garage). We know a little French and Spanish but nothing to relly speak of!
