Maison

A large thatched farm house situated in a small hamet. We have a large garden and fishing lake. The house has 2 reception rooms, three bedrooms , and large kitchen and is full of character. The following will have to be fed; cats, chickens , ducks , and horses. Eggs will be your recompense.

The house is situated in a very small hamlet 6 miles to the south of Sherborne. Boys Hill is a small hamlet consisting of a few farms and houses. Larger villages are nearby tht have good pubs. Sherborne , asmall town, is near taht has supermarkets, banks etc. The area is known for its outstanding countryside and is 45 min. by car from the coast. Many outstanding walks are near (we will leave a guide). This converted farm house is an ideal holiday house for anyone wishing to explore the South West Of England.

My wife and I are both 60 this year although we believe we look a younger. My wife is a physiotherapst and I am a food microbiologist. We have 3 children now all left home, my eldest daughter lives in Barcelona and is married to a Frenchman so is trilingual. They have a son who is 18 months. They will accompany us. We are keen gardeners and keep fit by walking.
