Maison

We have a stylish artist loft located in the heart of the vibrant Mission District. The loft is approximately 780 sq. ft. with high ceilings, a living room with three 7 ft. high windows that overlook the lovely Bernal Heights hills, one queen-size bed, a bathroom w/bathtub, dining room, and a kitchen equipped with all the culinary utensils you need.

Other amenities include a classic punching bag, a great sound system, a 52-inch color TV with premium cable programming, wireless internet, art books, and unique artwork from all over the world. (A local TV station labeled our place the “Smithsonian of the Mission District”.)

The 3-story building has a laundry mat on the second floor; and a wonderful community roof garden where you can enjoy a drink, a BBQ and a wide view of the city. Our loft is on the 3rd floor, accessible by stairs. The building also has a manual freight elevator.

Public transportation from here is very easy: the loft is conveniently located just 2 blocks away from a BART station (24th Street) that will take you to downtown SF in only minutes, as well as to Berkeley and Oakland on the other side of the Bay. Many bus lines are also easily accessible. There is also a really good mountain bike that you can use.



Quartier

The Mission District is San Francisco's most vibrant, colorful, lively and artistic neighborhoods. We are conveniently located at the heart of all the clubs,live venue bars, local restaurants, cafes, and independent shops. Public transportation from here is very easy: the loft is conveniently located just 2 blocks away from a BART station (24th Street stop) that will take you to downtown SF in only 10 minutes, as well as to Berkeley and Oakland on the other side of the Bay. Many bus lines are also easily accessible. And we have a mountain bike that you can use. We are also just blocks away from the famous Dolores Park, one of San Francisco's most lively and gorgeous spaces and very "San Francisco". My husband is a Mexican artist and writer and I am a visual arts curator from Colombia. We are interested in the arts, experimental music, movies, social justice, good food, good conversation.

We are both fluent in Spanish and English, and I speak a rusty french.

Destination

We would like to find an equivalent apartment/loft to ours (with Wifi) that is located in, or at a walking distance, from a bohemian neighborhood with restaurants, cafés, and bars.
