Maison

Our recently renovated house is modern and full of light. The sitting room is big and has lots of toys for young children. We have cable television with lots of different channels. Our home has two gardens and a barbecue. Upstairs there is a double room with a large double bed. Another bedroom has a double sofa bed. We also have a cot bed if desired. The children's bedroom has bunk beds.

Quartier

Our quiet neighbourhood is close to the city centre. There are two buses which you can catch into town. Behind our house there is a quiet park where you can go for pleasant walks, play football or whatever you fancy. There are lots of bars nearby where you can practice your English with the locals. There are also all types of food shops, supermarket, shopping centre and a park in the neighbourhood. The shopping centre has many big name shops, like Vero Moda, Jack and Jones, a bookshop, a toy shop and a cinema. A little further away there are attractions like the fishing village - Howth, famous for its fish and chips, cultural Temple Bar and the Phoenix Park.

We are an Irish/Spanish couple with two children - a five year old boy and a three year old little girl. We're both teachers and we enjoy our long summer holidays. I also run my own online book selling business. I love watching football, cooking and socialisimg with friends. My wife loves making clothes, jewellery and being surrounded by her family and friends. We like short walks, swimming, going to the playground and playing with the children. We also love sleeping and relaxing in front of the television. Life is short.
We enjoyed our first non-simultaneous exchange with a Spanish family last year.

Destination

We would love to visit any place that's near to my wife's native city - the amazing Pamplona. We don't have our own car in Pamplona but we may rent a car to reach our destination. We would be prepared to travel up to 300km from Pamplona. This would include areas such as the south of France, north and central Spain. We would also consider staying in Catalonia because it is so beautiful and it is well linked by public transport.
We would be prepared to have a non-simultaneous exchange. We may also consider exchanging during school holidays such as mid term breaks and Easter.
