The Okura River Retreat - A contemporary farmhouse & spa on 10 equestrian acres with seperate new open plan studio apartment concrete floors etc, with sea views swap either apartment or farmhouse simultaneously or not. Contemporary/Balinese styling with salt water pool, hydrotherapy pool, sauna, sunbed. 2 mins to local beach/estuary area, 5 mins to east coast beaches, 20 mins to Auckland CBD.

Okura is a coastal country lifestyle area most of the properties are on 10 acres of land its a quiet village (no shops) on a beautiful, raw, marine conservation area. We cross the river at low tide and can walk, ride or kayak in this beautiful marine sanctuary. A 30 min beach/bush hike takes you to historic Dacre Cottage where you can stay the night on a beautiful remote, raw beach. We are so convenient to Auckland only 20 mins down the motorway to the CBD. (out of rush hour) Also convenient for exploring the Matakana wine growing area with it's organic farmers market and the wild west coast beaches. Beautifully quiet, no electromagnetic stress, cell phone sites or electricity pylons!

Jo is a naturopath and has a spa/detox clinic at home, rides her horses on the beach everyday.
Jo say's I can ride on the beach, see two or three clients and have lunch in Auckland all in one day. We love to go up to Matakana wine area and to the organic farmers market there at weekends, our children have left home. We are happy to either swap our apartment for an apartment/studio or our Farmhouse for a similar property anytime, anywhere

Destination

Yes we are happy to swap simultaneously or not, we can always swap the apartment non-simultaneously and if necessary can also swap the house non-simultaneously too, we are keen to travel to Europe France or Italy this year between 1 June 2010 and 1 Sept 2010 but anywhere considered.
