Maison

The house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large lounge/dining area, in addition to a family room and spacious kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with gas hotplates, electric oven and grill, microwave oven, spacious freezer, refrigerator and dishwasher. The dining-table accommodates 12 when extended and the lounge room has a piano and various other musical instruments. The living room has a large plasma TV, DVD, video player, CD player and there is a computer with broadband internet access. The house has ducted heating throughout and cooling in two rooms – the main bedroom and the living room. It is fitted with user-controlled gas continuous hot water. The main bedroom has a King sized bed and sleeps two, the second bedroom has a Queen sized bed and sleeps two, the third bedroom is able to sleep two and the fourth bedroom can sleep one-two people. The backyard comprises an inground swimming pool, outdoor area with an eight seater dining setting and carport.
Our four wheel drive (six seater Pajero) which has dual fuel (gas and petrol) is available for the length of your stay, allowing extensive touring. It also has the option of a trailer for camping and other recreational pursuits.

Quartier

Our home is situated in Box Hill South, an eastern suburb of Melbourne, close to buses, trains, trams and with easy access to freeways, approximately half an hour from the central business district (city). It is walking distance from Wattle Park, the Box Hill South shops, Burwood Highway restaurants, Box Hill Shopping Centre and just around the corner from Gardiner’s Creek, an extensive belt of parkland. Within 15 minutes there are other major shopping and entertainment areas such as Doncaster Shoppingtown, Camberwell, Forest Hill, and Glenferrie Road Hawthorn. Easy access to the Mornington Peninsula, Wilson’s Promontory, Phillip Island (penguins) and other attractions. There is a regular bus directly from the airport to Box Hill.
