Maison

"Browfield" is a detached residence situated on the edge of Grassington in the heart of the beautiful Yorkshire dales. In an elevated position overlooking the River Whafe the house has large landscaped gardens to the front with ample space for alfresco dining and entertaining on lawns and stone flagged terraces with extensive views to the open countryside and Whafedale.
The house has been extensively upgraded and provides three double bedrooms, modern bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower compartment and a study with Computer and WIFI connection on the second floor and has a lager open plan family room, with modern kitchen, dining room and lounge area with flat-screen TV for entertaining and a separate drawing room with plasma TV and patio doors opening on to the delightful gardens. There is also a downstairs toilet and separate utility area and double garage. The kitchen is fitted with every modern convenience including a large gas range cooker, 52 bottle wine cooler and two fridges.

Quartier

The village of Grassington is an exceptionally beautiful Dales village with a great sense of community and has a warm welcoming approach to visitors. Raines Lane is quiet cul-de-sac and "Browfield" is just a short walk from the centre of the village where you will find an array of small specialist shops, the village post office and four traditional public houses and restaurants to choose from along with many cafes and a market selling local produce in its cobbled square. In June/July each year, Grassington also hosts an internationally renowned festival which attracts many national and international stars of stage, television and screen. It is also possible to arrange many outdoor pursuits such as fishing, cycling, clay-pigeon shooting, horse riding, walking, four wheel driving, Quad bikes, etc. locally so you are never short of something to do (if you want to!).
The market town of Skipton with its castle and markets lies only 9 miles to the south east and the Cities of Leeds and Manchester are easily assessible by road or rail where cultural and shopping experiences abound. And always remember - when visiting England it is a must to spend some quality time in "God's own County" - Yorkshire.
