Maison

Large, bright, modern, executive home (3500 sq ft) built in 2002 with all the amenities on 1.33 acres in a quiet neighborhood and semi-rural, tranquil area of Saint Charles, IL. There are 4 bedrooms, 4 baths (2 ensuite), living, dining, breakfast, family and laundry rooms, office and deck with BBQ overlooking a large back yard and a 3 car garage. Vaulted ceilings in the living and family rooms, master bedroom and bath and front entry. The master suite has a queen bed, two walk-in closets, a sitting area with fireplace and TV, and spa bath with jacuzi tub and seperate double shower. A true retreat!

Three other bedrooms have 4 twin beds, and a queen sleeper sofa is in the family room. We also have a Playstation 3, a Wii, an intercom, broadband internet, WiFi, LCD TVs, home theater, and premium cable TV.

Quartier

We live in a semi-rural, tranquil setting with rolling hills near St. Charles, IL, in a quiet, upscale neighborhood. We are only 40 miles west of Chicago and everything the city has to offer.

Saint Charles, a quaint but busy town of 30,000 people on the Fox River, is located 40 miles west of Chicago (home of President Barack Obama) and Lake Michigan. O'Hare airport is 39 miles away, and we are 1 hour from Wisconsin and from Six Flags Amusement Park. The Indiana Dunes State Park on Lake Michigan is 2 hours away. The Metra (train) station is 7 miles from our house, which ends in downtown Chicago. There are many parks, shops, malls, restaurants and pubs to visit near our home, as well in surrounding towns and Chicago, which has many museums, theaters, nightclubs and sporting events. Bicycling is also popular.

À propos de nous

We are a family of four: Bill (56) is an artist, Trina (49) is a Human Resources Director, Hannah (20) is a university student, and Alec (17) is a senior in high school. We have one dog who will be kenneled. We enjoy traveling and have had two enjoyable exchanges so far.

Destination

Our travel dates for 2011 are June 4 - June 12th (Flexible by one or two days).
