This 1840's greek revival mansion has been considered one of the most charming homes in the mid west. 4 manicured lush acres has been featured on the Garden and Christmas tours. So close to dining and shopping in a quaint historic town right on the Ohio River. Evening, it becomes more enchanting with the fireplaces lit & the lights dimmed. The gazebo at night is great spot for an awesome bottle of wine. It's a romantic get away for couples that like to travel and cook together. Awesome kitchen. You'll think you are in a fine hotel with the furniture, art, rugs and fixtures. Each room is uniquely hand painted with european plasters and incredible stenciling. The soft tones of the interior sets the stage for awesome memories. Enjoy a candle lit bath upstairs or slow dance in the ball room with it's hand painted sky. There are 4 gorgeous bedrooms with walk in closets. Sleeps 10 easy. The six hundred ft front yard has old maple trees a huge fountain a rose garden and benches scattered for conversation spots. The front porch will surely be your morning spot for coffee. Built by famed architect Francis Costigan, the mansion has been restored to museum quality. If you are looking for something special and you think you've seen it all, we have your place waiting for you.

Quartier

The neighborhood is quiet, one Victorian Mansion, on the corner, otherwise set in with small quaint old homes. It's close to down town. My girls love to explore it's stores every time we are there. There are some great food spots there as well. If it's antique shopping that you love, there are some really lovely places to get some great deals, I'm living proof. I can't keep my wife out of these shops.The property is 4 acres so it's a park in itself. The front yard is the reason I bought the place, absolutely incredible. A few miles away is a national park with beautiful water falls and site seeing. This a tourist town on the Ohio River, really nice place to visit.

LA based interior designer with a wife and four girls. English is about it. My wife and I are ready to travel. We need time to ourselves. Love tennis, dinning is a must, wine and exercise. Need to see beautiful surroundings. I like Europe my wife like Martha's Vineyard. There mite be a couple like us to travel with.

Destination

Totally flexible Non-simultaneous is fine and yes dates are flexible. I would love to visit a place like Martha's Vineyard in the fall, England and or France.
