Beautiful reproduction Queenslander home, timber floors, modern kitchen, easy quite living, very natural and calm. 2 bathrooms - 1 main bathroom with separate bath and shower, 1 en-suite to master bedroom with shower, child and toddler friendly, disabled access, vegetable plot, 4 free range chickens can remain if desired. 4 fresh eggs per day! Ocean views, set on 5 acres of cleared and wooded land.

World class mountain bike trail on our door step, close to many attractions, yet a world away from any problems.

Large screen plasma, IPOD dock, great for a base to explore the area, the Gold Coast is 3 hours drive, Sydney 1.5 hours by plane.

A friendly 7 year old burmese cat, smokey, can also stay if you like, we have a friend who is happy to take him also - your choice.

There are kangaroos in our gardens (as per photo), and also Kookaburra Birds which can be hand fed.

The Noosa Beach (see photo) is a 15 min drive away.

Shopping centers, restaurants, markets, fishing , many golf courses (inexpensive), horse riding, sailing etc etc are all within a 30 min drive.

House comes equipped with a 2006 VW Passat Wagon, it's diesel, right hand drive, automatic and the fuel is inexpensive at about $1.USD per liter.

I also have a 250 Aprillia scooter for Market runs, but you'll need a motorcycle licence from your country in order to use it...it seats 2.

We are a one hour drive from the famous Australia Zoo, owned by the late Steve Irwin, which has an amazing crocodile display.

House has a slow burning combustion heater fed by timber for the nights on the cooler months of July and August. Day temps in winter are no less than 15 c, it remains sunny all year, and humidity is only a problem in DECEMBER/FEBRUARY.

High speed Internet - wireless.

There are toys, swings and bikes for children and the neighbor has a pony which can be petted over our fence :)

Located on a quite dead end street, with a 15 minute drive to Noosa Heads, the famous Eumundi markets and the quaint rural town of Cooroy. Genuine neighbours occupy 1-5 acre blocks in reasonably close proximity. The home enjoys expansive Pacific Ocean views from it elevated position, some 7 k's from the coast.

À propos de nous

We are a couple who are just 40, with two adorable children aged 2 & 3.

Until recently we have had a Taiwanese Au Pair living with us, the last one was the sixth one we have had, all staying for 3 months. We would like to continue having the children learn mandarin Chinese.

We both work from home with portable work, we need good access to the internet, prefer wireless....

The house should be available for stays from May until December 20, we prefer swaps of at least three weeks duration but will consider shorter times, we really would like to be in Singapore or China in May/June Germany in June/July, and Asia from July to December...but will consider other options.

We are not interested in the USA, unless it is to Florida, near Miami, South Africa unless it's Cape Town, Canada, the UK, Ireland or countries with high costs of living.

We wish you well, and will treat your house with utmost respect, the same you will for ours ;)
