Maison

We have a large and comfortable Victorian two storey family home in a very friendly and safe neighbourhood in South East London. Recently renovated to a high standard, the house has all the advantages of modern living whilst retaining its original charm. Our home is large and light with original fireplaces in every room. One very large living room and a large kitchen/dining room on the ground floor. Also on the ground floor is a master bedroom, with an en-suite wet-room and huge glass doors that access the garden. On the second floor there are two large double bedrooms, one large single and one smaller bedroom. There is also a study and a modern bathroom with power shower. We have a very large patio/decked area off the kitchen that is perfect for barbecues, outdoor furniture and an unusually large and very lush garden.. We have, several TVs, DVDs and computers with networked Broadband Internet access.

Quartier

We live near a small parade of shops and a small supermarket. Close by is the beautiful and very English Dulwich Village with its famous art gallery, Dulwich College and local pub. Dulwich Park is also very well known for its rhododendrons, leisurely walks, tennis courts and children’s playgrounds. A 7 minute walk to the railway station gets you to central London in 12 minutes – or a bus right outside the house will take you to Oxford Circus in 40. We are well positioned to explore the rest of Southern England. Car exchange is possible - we have a 5 seater BMW X5.

À propos de nous

We are both in our late forties with three teenage daughters. Richard works in property developing and I work in TV production. Our three daughters are still at school. We are very keen on outdoor life - especially anything to do with boats. We also have a holiday home in Cornwall.

Destination

This summer we would very much like to travel to California.
