At the second floor of a 17th century charming building, this nice apartment of 45m2 is very well situated on the main street of the "Ile St Louis", in the heart of Paris.

The flat has retained much of its original character and charm, with original beams.

Suitable for up to 4 people, it features a main room with an American equipped kitchen (micro-wave, oven, combi fridge freezer, washing machine, dryer....) and a living room, including a double sofa-bed.
The second room is the bedroom with a large bed, a big cupboard and a little desk.

TV, DVD reader, Hi-fi, Internet access are available.

Quartier

Superb central location of Paris in the Saint-Louis island, just beside Notre Dame cathedral!

Within an easy walking distance, you can reach the Latin Quarter -direction South - (Sorbonne University, Boulevard Saint Michel, Saint Germain des Pres church), or the Marais - direction North - one of the most ancient districts of Paris (Place des Vosges, Hotel de Ville, George Pompidou Centre). The Louvre or Orsay museums are at less than half an hour walking distance.

Very lively area plenty of restaurants, cafes and typical boutiques.

No need for car, as you can easily reach any place walking or by metro or bus.

We are a couple of Italians in its late forties, living in France for the last fifteen years.

Marcella teaches Geology and Geomorphology at the University and Michel is a finance manager. Our children Matteo (15) and Marta (12) are well educated teenagers.

We enjoy cinema, art, music, and often visit museums and exhibitions. We love Sardinian beaches or walks on the Alps for our summer holidays.

For our first exchange program, Marcella and the children would like to spend two weeks in a nice British or Irish town or in Malta, attending an English course and visiting the surrounding region.

The apartment we propose is superbly located in the centre of Paris and is seldom used by Michele’s brother who mostly lives in Italy.

We are fully available for a non-simultaneous exchange.
