Maison

Oceanfront condo on Ambergris Caye, Belize, with incredible views of the Barrier Reef and the blue/green waters of the Caribbean Sea. Enjoy the view from your balcony or from the pool deck while sipping an exotic drink.


The landscaping provides the ambiance of an exotic retreat and is expertly performed by our gardener, Armando. We also have a vacant lot next door with beautiful coconut trees and birds galore.

Our condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom and 2 twin beds in the second bedroom that can be used as a king. A loft room can be used as a bedroom or office and all rooms have air conditioning. We have found that air conditioning has only been needed on very "still" days because the ocean breeze is quite comfortable. There is cable TV.

The condo is fully furnished and has a large, well equipped kitchen. Ours is an upper unit in a two level building. There are six condos in the building.

Ambergris Caye is the main tourist destination in Belize. The pace is slow. Most visitors get around on a golf cart, bicycle, on foot or by taxi. We do not offer any transportation, but we can recommend reliable and honest cart renters.

Quartier

Ambergris Caye is a tourist destination. The major water attractions are diving, snokeling, and fishing. If your interests include diving and/or fishing, it doesn't get better than this! There are expert guides on the Island and we can provide you with a list of suggestions. If Mayan culture is at the top of your list, there are many tours available to the mainland of the ruins. Ambergris Caye and the town of San Pedro is a loving community of locals and expats from all over. We lived here for 4 yrs and ran a business before moving back to the States for health reasons.

Our condo is about 1.5 miles south of the tiny village of San Pedro. It is very quiet and private. Located on the sand, the condo provides unparalleled views of the Caribbean. We have no neighbors to the immediate south, so there is a great deal of privacy. Next door, to the north, there is a beautiful single family home and the neighbors are great.

À propos de nous

We are a semi-retired couple in our mid/late 50s. Allan practiced law and Patty was a flight attendant. We both love the ocean. Patty loves gardening and birding. Allan is a golfer and plays bass in two jazz groups. We have travelled a great deal and would love the opportunity to see more places.
We have a sweet dog, Molly who was born in Belize and returned with us to the States.

Destination

Our dates are flexible. The exchange dates need not be simulataneous. The high season in Belize is from Christmas time through May.
