Maison

Lovely 2 bedroom Brooklyn apartment in lovely neighborhood! Our apt is located on a tree lined street near the subway to Manhattan (15 - 30 minutes to the city depending on where you go). Our place gets lots of sunlight and has wooden floors, a galley kitchen w/bar for eating, dining area, 2 bedrooms (one with a queen sized bed and the other with a twin loft bed and a playroom that converts w/blow up bed that sleeps 2, bathroom, study and large living room. We have a dishwasher and washing machine (in the basement). It is a 4th Floor walk-up. There is also wireless internet access.

The apartment is located in Park Slope, Brooklyn near great restaurants, Prospect Park, the Botanic Gardens and Brooklyn Museum.

Quartier

We are located in the central part of Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, which is beautiful and full of cultural activities. Our street is lined with trees and classic pre-war buildings and inhabited by young families, professionals, and artists. Our building is a short walk from the subway and easily accessible to anywhere in the city.

Park Slope is known for beautiful brownstone houses, tree-lined streets, excellent dining, and spectacular Prospect Park. You can walk everywhere and there are lots of trendy boutiques and restaurants as well as a farmer's market on Saturdays.The apartment is located in Park Slope, Brooklyn near Prospect Park, the Botanic Gardens and Brooklyn Museum.

À propos de nous

My husband, Alan Carroll and I, Jolie Novak are in our early 40s and have a 9 year old daughter, Sadie. I am a Managing Photo Editor for AOL's Living websites and Alan is a freelance mural artist and decorative painter. Alan is from Dublin, but has lived in the states for over 14 years now. We love to travel and mostly go to visit his family in Ireland, but I lived in Paris for 4 years and am itching to get back there as well as visit other places as well!

We love the idea of a home/apt exchange as it offers others to come visit our lovely city in a different way and to really view what it is like to live here rather than just being a tourist in a hotel!

Destination

We are open to destinations, but this July or August we would like to visit the south of France near the Riviera if possible. We are also open to Italy, Spain, Ireland etc..., but ultimately would like to visit France.

We are also interested in going to the Caribbean or Central America in April for a week around the 18th if possible!
