Maison

This One bedroomed appartment is in the most stunningly landscaped grounds. The developement is a ten minute drive from Nice Airport with spectacular views of the coastline. There are shops within the grounds but the local village of Cagnes is two minutes away by car,as well as Antibes within a ten minute car ride. This appartment has one bedroom with balconies at the front and back, and is on 2nd floor of a 6 storey block. It is considered the best location in area, primarily due to the various ponds and superb trees and shrubs. The living room is spacious and bright with TV and WiFi connection.
The Kitchen is equipped with Fridge/Freezer, washing machine, Electric Oven and Hob, with many smaller electrical appliances. The bathroom has a bath with hand held mixer as well as a fixed shower, a bidet and a basin/vanity unit. The Wc is separate.
The appartment is tastefully decorated with neutral decor and marble flooring throughout. Parking is available with a zapper for the entrance gate.

Quartier

The Appt. is between Nice and Antibes on the coast. Cagnes has an old town on the top of the hill with the chateau of the Garibaldis and a view of the coast from Villefranche to the fort at Antibes. The newer part of town has a peasants market,restaurants,and all the usual facilities. Inland we have the beautiful fortified village of St Paul de Vence,with its galleries and chic boutiques. The seafront of Cagnes has restaurants and a pebble beach. If you want sand you must go to Antibes which is 10-15 mins away.

I am a batchelor living alone with an interest in Art and Literature. British by birth (but no one is perfect) Well travelled and considerate of other peoples property. I speak French, but not like a native. I will be travelling alone.

Destination

I am looking for a one month stay in old Montreal in August 2009. Dates are not flexible. Exchange must be simultaneous.
