Maison

Our comfortable 3 bedroom terraced home with bathroom/shower, fully equiped kitchen, dining room and lounge comfortably sleeps 5-people. Would suit couples or families.

Stay home and enjoy our newly landscaped garden with views to the town and rolling Devon hills. Or light a barbeque and relax in the double hammock on the wooden deck to watch the sunset. Sunsets are great from the master bedroom in the loft too!

Quiet and friendly neighbourhood with parking always available in the street. 7-seater (Vauxhall Zafira) family car available for exchange.

Just 5-minutes walk to the tranquil River Dart where you can catch a sightseeing boat for the one hour ride to Dartmouth by the sea. Return the same way or catch the steam train and double-decker bus back - completing a wonderful circular trip. Or you may prefer to try one of the many riverside walks in both directions.

Totnes town (also 5-minutes level walk) is known for its friendly, artistic and vibrant people. With it's wide variety of natural/complimentary health practitioners and services you can really pamper yourself!

Stroll up the high street towards the Medieval castle and try one of the many pubs/restaurants (most of which offer a great vegetarian selection as well as meat and seafood dishes). Check with the tourist information centre in town to find out about festivals and performances locally. Shopping all just 5-minutes walk away.

Plenty for the children to do from Rare Breeds Farm to kingsize Woodlands Advernture Park and River Dart Adventure Park nearby.

Dartmoor Nature Reserve with it's wild ponies and super hiking just 20-minutes drive away.

Lovely selection of beaches (large and small) only 20 minutes drive.

I am a 43 year old psychotherapist and my husband is a medical doctor. We have two very gentle and happy children (7 and 10 years old). I have travelled for 20-years to many places and now enjoy showing my family the world too.

Originally, I am from Vancouver Canada and my husband is from South Africa.

We enjoy nature, camping and travel as a family.

Destination

Currently and for the next 3 years we are very interested in trips to Greece, Italy, Egypt, Cape Town and Vancouver....though other offers will always be considered!
