Maison

our unique home is filled with character and is on four acres. About one acre of landscaped garden with a pond and the rest is natural forest.The house has two fireplaces, one master bedroom with an en suite, two small bedrooms one with a double bed and one single bed. The kitchen/dining room area is open plan and includes skylights, large windows and french doors to the garden. Everywhere you look are majestic cedar trees and if you are lucky you may see deer wandering through the yard. The living room has a second fire place and an older upright grand piano. The home includes all the modern appliances.

Quartier

The property is located on the Sunshine Coast,north of the beautiful city of Vancouver and 2 hours travel away from Whistler mountain,a world class ski resort and home of the 2010 winter Olympics.This is rural life at its best! Privacy and quiet within our forest, yet easy access to the beaches, of which there are several and two within five minutes drive that provide swimming, beach hiking with bald eagles and other bird life along the shore.. Opportunities for outdoor activity are many such as kayaking, scuba diving, horse riding, golfing, mountain bike riding, hiking etc.
The city of Vancouver is a forty minute ferry ride away and accessible for a day trip. We are situated between two small towns on the coast for shopping etc. with our village five minutes down the road, close to the beach.

We are a responsible, professional couple. I am an acupuncturist and my husband is a counsellor. We enjoy reading, hiking, gardening, music, traveling, and meeting new friends from around the world. We are very respectful of peoples' property and will take very good care of your home.

Destination

Our first destination is London, preferably west London for the last weekend in July,2009, possibly longer. The exchange party can be here longer from July 12th, 2009 while we travel around.
We are also open to non simultaneous exchanges.
Later we are interested in New York, Arizona, Guatemala, Belize, open.
