Maison

930 sq. ft. southwest style home on 38 acres with a great stretch of the Animas River. Cast dry flies to the rising trout or relax on the private beach a couple minutes walk from the house through large Cottonwoods and grassy meadows. The upgraded kitchen appliances and outdoor grille create opportunities for gourmet meals. The Queen sized Tempur-Pedic in the bedroom insure's a quality night's sleep. Satellite TV and outdoor patio furniture with beautiful gardens make staying at home the thing you want to do, but don't you dare because Durango is a very cool town.

Quartier

Located at the end of the road in an upscale subdivision a couple of miles south of Durango Colorado. You can see a few neighboring homes but the property is very quiet and private.

I am a real estate broker specializing in River properties (but I will sell you anything) and my wife is a stockbroker. I enjoy skiing, golf and fishing. When I vacation I especially love ocean flats fishing and look for new and different opportunities with that in mind. My wife loves cooking, gardening, reading, shopping and a good cabernet.

Three years ago we were blessed to find our perfect property after looking for many years. Our goal was to move in to the guest house and build the main house in the near future. As the economy softens and we get older we realize that we will probably never build the main house. What we have now is almost perfect.

Destination

I am very flexible. I really don't have anything in mind at this time but will look at all possibilities.
