3 level oceanfront beach home on private guarded beach. Home was built in 2001 and its located 10 minute walk to town of Bethany. Bikes of all sizes available, two laundry rooms, beautifully decorated and high tech accommodations, tv's (flat screens) in all bedrooms, two family rooms, screened in porch with two large open aired decks, beach chairs, toys, boards on premises. 4 king beds, 3 queen beds. Walking distance to great restaurants or favorite beach town hangouts. Bikers paradise, 50 plus miles of flat road surface for the enthusiast, great antiquing and outlet shopping in town or in one of three other beach towns. Will help facilitate best places to go! Internet access and cable and satelite tv. Elevator.

Bethany is a great small town beach community full of local fare, beautiful beaches, relaxed atomosphere and very family friendly. Curfew for kids under 18 is 12 midnight. Farmers market in town weekly, fairs, and great golfing 5 minutes away or 45 minutes away to course outside of Ocean City, MD. Located 40 minutes from Asategue and Chinategue national parks home of beautiful wide sand beaches and wild minature ponies. 30 minutes from Lewes, DE and a 30 minute ferry ride to New Jersey. 30 minutes form Rehobeth beach and great town and fabulous outlet shopping. Delaware is a tax free state.

Our family lives at this beach home most of the summer. The last two summers we spent 8 weeks at the beach. It is very comfortable, slow paced and never a need to get in a car--everything within walking distance (grocery store to pub to restaurtants).

See details above. We also have a 16,000 square feet home 30 minutes outside of Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD that we could swap during the summer, if you are interested in sightseeing in either or both locations.

My husband and I own a cleaning franchise in Columbia, MD. We have three girls, 17, 15, and 12. We enjoy travelling and relaxing. Most recent vacations include renting a yacht in the Caribbean, Hawaii and we love NYC. We also own a farm and raise cattle in Frederick County, MD and in South Dakota. This is my husbands side business or hobby. We are a mellow crowd, dont drink and understand the importance of leaving things better than we found them.

Destination

We are interested in travelling April 4-13th, 2009. Our first choice is Italy, but for right place and exchange we are open to any offers. Our beach house will be rent for $8,000 a week during the summer months.
