Maison

Our 100 farm is located 30 miles from Louisville and Lexington. A dairy barn has been converted to a lodge that overlooks hillsides, pastures and wooded trails. Activites include horseback riding, fishing, hayride, outdoor barbecuing and more.

Quartier

Shelbyville is a small town that offers an atmoshpere and environment that lends itself to getting to know the USA from a country perpective. Use the farm/lodge as a base to visit the KY Horse Park, thorougbred horse country, historical sights, wineries,and other reccreational options. After a day filled with fun... return to a relaxing and peaceful setting. Plenty of room to walk, hike, paddle boat, fish, barbecue, or doze off under an orchard of walnut trees. Visit a local country store that offers daily breakfast and lunch and is filled with a variety of "country" items. Get to know the "locals" and the history of this area. When your vacation is complete pack up and move to anoter part of the USA. Bet you keep your bags unpacked and stay at Walnut Grove farm.

My wife and I have three grown children and three grandchildren. We bougth our farm eightteen years ago and began developing it as a family reunion setting. We have come to recognize that other families across the world would love to share our experience. We have opened our farm, lodge and, doors to you. Please enjoy! We would like to exchange our property for two weeks and enjoy a similar setting in Italy. If you can accomodate 4 couples we would like to discuss possibilities.
