Beautifull penthouse with bright colors, feel like at the beach or on a boat while being downtown Santo Domingo, wooden deck terrace with a jacuzzi to refresh after walking in the colonial zone, the apartment is wide open, very well-ventilated with breeze all the time.
4 bed rooms: 2 downstairs with their own bathroom, a master upstairs, with its bathroom and with a direct access to the main terrace; and another bedroom upstair, ideal for a child, no bathroom.
Large living room downstairs with terrace.
Internet acces, French Cable TV.
Appartment is on 4th and 5th floor. Elevator.

At a walking distance from el Malecón (ocean Boulevard) and the Colonial Zone lies the District of Gazcue, formerly an exclusive residential neighborhood, today is a blend of residential and commercial area where houses of unique architecture, mainly from the 1940s and 1950s, are preserved. Many of these residences have become businesses nowadays. This pleasant cultural area, highly populated by trees, is where the majority of the modern museums concentrate, such as the located ones at Plaza de la Cultura, a complex which includes the Museo de Arte Moderno, the Museo de Historia Natural , Museo de Historia y Geografía and the Museo del Hombre Dominicano. The Plaza de la Cultura also includes the National Theater, where national and international plays, ballets and other theatrical presentations, are regularly shown. This district also hosts various fine dining options, several of which are located in antique renovated houses that preserve the charm of the golden era of this privileged area

Cynthia and Denis welcome you in their appartment.
We have 2 kids , Enzo en Zoe, 3 and 1 year old.
Denis is French and arrived in Santo Domingo 20 years ago to set up a company which build boat models. He is passionate with boats. You will see some nautical decor around the appartment...
Cynthia, his wife, is from madagascar , she is a french teacher. She likes smiling and she is a cooking enthusiast, she is extremely keen on books and hopefully if you read french you will not have to bring any book during your stay in Santo Domingo. She is nice and sweet as her nickname "Cookie".
Both like travelling , adventure and outside life.
They also own a house outside Santo Domingo with cows and ducks.....next to the National Park Los Haitises , with a river in the backyard, Comatillo ...
