Maison

This is our swedish paradise!

Our house lies approx 30 metres from the lake and we have a spectacular view from our panoramic window facing the lake. It is a breathtaking view to see when you first wake up in the morning.

The house sleeps 8 but could accommodate 1 or 2 more (small people). There is, however, only 1 bedroom, downstairs.

There is two more double beds upstairs which is open plan. Plus a sofa bed which sleeps two people. One of the beds, which is in an alcove, can be screened off with a drape. This bed is also next to the upstairs toilet.

The second double bed is next to the upstairs balcony which has a view over the lake. There is also a small sitting room upstairs which has a stereo, a TV, DVD, German Satellite TV and a Playstation2 with lots of games.

Downstairs we have a living room/kitchen with plenty of space in the corner sofa for watching a good DVD (we have lots of films you are welcome to use). Here we also have Swedish Satellite TV with many English language programmes (with subtitles).

The dining table easily seats 8 and more and the kitchen is very well equipped with microwave, dish washer, cooker and fridge freezer.

The bedroom is downstairs.

There is an additional bathroom downstairs which has a shower. This is also where we keep our washing machine.

The villa is in the country side and on the outskirts of a summer house area in Kil, Varmland, Sweden. Our house is on the lake Fryken. At the house we have a sauna, jetty and a motor boat.

The nearest town is Kil but there is only a 30 min drive to Karlstad.

Quartier

The neighbourhood is ideal for quiet country walks, excursions on the lake with the boat, fisahing (the house comes with a fishing licence), swimming and just relaxing.

The neighbourhood is very quiet.

Kil, the nearest town, is about 10 mins away by car. Here you can find all the essentials like postoffice, bank, groceries etc.

We are a family of four who live in UK. I am Swedish, my husband and two girls are English. We love our house by the lake with our sauna, jetty and motor boat. Despite that we would love to try something else now and again.

Destination
