Maison

We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Redondo Beach 9 mi. (14km) south of Los Angeles International Airport. Our home has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, computer room, a large living room/dining room with a fireplace, hardwood floors and a combined kitchen/TV room. We have a very private back yard with a wooden deck. We often eat our meals there while watching a constant stream of hummingbirds and finches that come to our bird feeders. We have a dishwasher, washer & dryer and cable TV, 2 large flat screen TV's, DVD and wireless Internet are available. We also have a gardener.

There are 2 bicycles and 2 large sea kayaks available with a van with a roller kayak rack to carry the kayaks.

Disneyland, Hollywood, Knots Berry Farm, museums, aquarium, Getty Center (http://www.getty.edu/) and Griffith Park (http://www.lacity.org/rap/dos/parks/griffithpk/index.htm)
and the Griffith Observatory.

San Deigo, Mexico, Las Vegas, Mamouth Ski Resort, and Kings Canyon National Park are 2 to 5 hours drive away. The Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Bryce and Zion National Parks are about 8 hours away.

Things to do: Fishing, boating, sailing, horse back riding, walking, hiking, and kayaking in the many harbors and estuaries in the area.

Simultaneous or non-simultaneous exchange available most any time for 2 or 3 day weekends or several weeks.

About us: Kay is a retired registered nurse and Gary is a retired licenced Professional Engineer . We are now traveling most of the year so our home is available most any time. We both enjoy hiking, walking, kayaking and travel. We take great pride in our home and would treat yours with the same respect. We are non-smokers. We have completed 12 exchanges so far.
