Maison

Our house is spacious, modern and very comfortable. It is in a quiet and safe area (great for children), with 4 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (& an extra toilet downstairs) a large brand new family kitchen / dining room, conservatory (with pool and football table) and huge lounge with an extra double sofabed. There is a well equipped garden with barbeque and terrace and we have a garage part converted to a gym.

As we have 2 boys there are plenty of indoor and outdoor toys, computer games, bikes etc and we also have friendly cats (and would be happy to look after your pets).

Additionally we can possibly offer use of our large car and possible use of a house in Cotswolds (3 bedroom).

Quartier

Within 30 minutes drive of our home you will find many famous attractions ...Windsor Castle, Eton College, Legoland, Henley on Thames. Oxford, Ascot racecourse & Central London (direct train) is only 40 mins away.

Closer still is Reading with many shops, restaurants, cinema & leisure centre & the pretty villages of Sonning & Twyford (1.5 miles with food shops, pubs, restaurants & theatre on the river).

Our house itself is in a quiet neighbourhood in a small village called Charvil. The countryside is on our doorstep - The front garden leads straight to fields, cycle paths, horse riding, lakeside walks and a lovely country pub (less than 10 mins walk.) There are tennis courts (free use) & a play area right outside the front door and within a short drive are several golf courses and a country park with sailing and fishing.

We are a family of 4. Our boys are 8 and 6 years old and we both work - in Human Resources and Retail Management.

We love travelling and have enjoyed 3 fantastic home exchanges over the last 2 years. They have both been wonderfully succesful and has inspired us to have another adventure.

We also have many friends and friendly neighbours who will help make your visit to our home welcoming.

Destination

We are interested in exchanges mainly in the school holidays.

For the summer (ideally August) we would love to go somewhere warm near the coast such as Spain, France, Italy or Croatia.

At the end of October we are hoping to go to Israel (Tel Aviv area) to see family.

In addition we are open to shorter exchanges in UK, or Northern France
