'Looking for an exchange to Holland 23rd-28th October' and to the Chester area in November. Welcome to our detached family home with two double bedrooms with very comfortable double beds, one with an ensuite and a further family bathroom and one bedroom which has been converted into a study with computer and internet access. On the ground floor there is an entrance hall with a downstairs cloakroom, kitchen, dining room and lounge. The kitchen is fitted with all modern facilities including dish washer, fan oven, grill with separate oven, microwave, gas hob, refrigerator and deep freeze. A utility room leads off the entrance hall and this houses a washing machine, drying area and a further deep freeze. This room leads into the garage where bicycles and barbecue equipment are stored. Our home has a two tiered rockery garden with two lawns at the back of the house and two small lawns at the front. Adjacent to this is a driveway with parking for two cars.

Quartier

Our detached home is set in a quiet cul de sac with views over the downs, where the Bishops grazed their sheep in the olden days. We are very conveniently situated, close to all amenities. The historic city of Salisbury is just five minutes away by car, and is also easily accessible by bus being only a two minute walk away from the nearest bus stop. Also within walking distance is a fitness centre, garage and motel with a restaurant. We are very well located for travelling to Stonehenge, Bath, Winchester, the New Forest with the lovely New Forest ponies, and Bournemouth with its wonderful sandy beaches. Golf courses, leisure centres, horse riding, fishing and race courses are close by. Bournemouth and Southampton also have airports which are closer to fly into than London and London is only 1hour 10 mins. away by train.

We are Kevin and Jan both recently retired from Marketing and Supplies and from teaching and now we would like to travel and make friends worldwide through home exchange. We have done this successfully exchanging homes with people from Boston, New England and Townsville Australia where our daughter now lives. We have enjoyed our stay in Townsville immensely and would like to do another home exchange there and also to Cairns, Noosa and areas near by. We would also like to do short breaks within the UK and get to know our own country even better and also short breaks to Holland, Germany, France and many more European countries. We treat our home with great care and would do the same with yours.

Destination

'Looking for an exchange to Holland 23rd-28th October' and Chester in November and then Kevin and I would like to return to Townsville and the surrounding area, Cairns, Noosa, Darwin between May - September each year. Tasmania and S. Island New Zealand would also be countries we would like to visit whilst travelling to and from Australia. In the UK we would like to do short breaks to lots of different destinations and also do short breaks to many European countries. We are open to offers and are free to travel at any time.
