Maison

Hi we are a British/ kiwi family, and have lived in New Zealand for 4 years. We have 3 year old twin Girls. We live in a small Village of Ashhusrt which is in the Manawatu, in the lower North Island. The main city is Palmerton North 15 kms 6.5 miles from Ashhurst, its then 2 hours to Wellington, 3 hours to Lake Taupo and 2 hours to Rupahu for ski ing, then you have the waiarapa so really good good for doing those tourest things also there is of course the manawatu itself to explore, which also has lots to offer. The only thing its a wee drive to the coast 30 mins to the nearest beach!!!!
The house has three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms one en suite, with a bath and shower the other just has a shower. We have 2 double beds and 2 single beds. The rest of the house in open plan kitchen living area and dining area, with a patio for summer dining.

Quartier

Ashhurst is great safe place to live, for my family. Lots of walks around to do, bike rides, and then a short drive you have so many other palce to enjoy, swimming in the local rivers, fishing and bush walking.

As i said before i am British / kiwi brought up in the uk, married for 8 years to Allan he scotish, was in the Britsh Army now in the New zealand Defence force. We have twin girls new zealand kindly gave us !!!!!!!!!! They are now 3. My number one job is being a mother but i also work as a emergency Nurse in the local hospital in Palmerston North.
We haven t been back to the uk since my husband and i left in 2004 and really need to spend some quality time, catching up with family and freinds, (my parents and brother and sister moved out here as well. Even though sadly my brother has just gone back to complete a PHD. ) So my parents are around for help for when you come here they live in Pohangia which is an amazing place just 15 mins up the road.

sorry to not be flexibel on when we arrive as my husband has to be in the uk for work in Feb but when we come back can be.
