Hi, we are coming back to Newcastle for 2-3 months from May - July 2009 and need someone to stay with our 11yr old dog for this time. We have a very sexy maisonette in central Berlin in the very popular east Berlin suburb of Prenzlauberg. It comfortably sleeps 2 but you could have a spare mattress downstairs if need be. There is full internet and a computer will be left available plus the very best mode of berlin transport- bicycles!
Please note that our primary interest is someone to stay with our dog and keep him feed and exercised.

Quartier

Prenzlauberg was the former east area of berlin and is very near where the Berlin wall was. About 10yrs ago the buildings were all still largely bombed out and degrading and this area was largely inhabited by musicians, punks and artists. Now though, we live in one of the most gentrified and middle-upper income areas in Berlin. Google "Kollwitzplatz Berlin" and this will be your neighbourhood loaded with Cafes, restaurants and too many baby carriages!

This is really just about having someone stay with our animal while we are in Newcastle. I am Australian and my husband is Italian, and it is time to spend some time with my family.
