Maison

Old Village house with great views from all south-facing windows. Kitchen/dining room with fireplace, living room with vaulted ceiling, 1 double bedroom with separate dressing room, 1 bedroom with single bed, convertible in double, 1 bathroom with shower. The air conditioning is only in the bedroom on the top floor as in the summer it's very hot, the rest of the house is fine. My house is old, functional, clean, charming but modest. There is no garden but the surrounding beautiful countryside makes up for it. Ideal for a couple.

Quartier

My village (Roaix) had an important Templar Commanderie. It is a small ancient village with a castle. It is surrounded by prestigious vineyards (Cote du Rhone) and lovely ancient villages (Vaison la Romaine is 4 km away, Villedieu 6 km, Seguret 5 km) There are lots of nice walks to be made in the surroundng countryside. The neighbours are friendly and assorted families with children of different ages, mostly French. There are 3 restaurants, a supermarket, newsagent, all in walking distance. Great area for cycling. Avignon is 40 minutes away.

À propos de nous

I live in my house by myself and I am a painter. I keep my house in pretty good conditions. I have a small but interesting selection of DVDs, internet and many books in english, italian and a few in french. I speak english, italian and french.

Destination

Ideally I would like to go to Ireland in September for a week. I am open to all warm places in the winter and cool in the summer.
