Maison

Old Village house nestled in La Livinière, an oasis of silence and sunshine. Kitchen/dining room with living room, 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with single bed convertible in double with terrace, 1 large bathroom with shower and terrace. My house is old, functional, clean, charming but modest. Restoration of the house is recent.There is internet, satellite TV. There is no garden, but the private terrace and surrounding beautiful countryside makes up for it.

Quartier

My village is a small ancient village with a castle. It is surrounded by prestigious vineyards and lovely ancient villages (Minerve, Cunes...) interesting towns like Carcassonne and Narbonne (only 26km away) Toulouse, Montpellier and Perpignan (one hour's away) The Canal du Midi, the Cathars history. There are lots of nice walks to be made in the surroundng countryside. The village has a little supermarket, boulangerie, pharmacy and a restaurant and bar. The people in the village are mainly French with some Americans, British, and other assorted Europeans. Some of them live here all year round.

À propos de nous

I live in my house by myself, am a painter and teach meditation. I keep my house in pretty good conditions. I have a small but interesting selection of DVDs, internet and many books in english, italian and a few in french. Words such as : cleanliness, respect and responsability occupy prominent places in my dictionary.I speak english, italian and french.

Destination

Ideally I would like to go to Ireland in September for a week. I am open to all warm places in the winter and cool in the summer.
