Maison

The main house has 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, and a professional kitchen. There is a 500 sq.ft. separate artist's studio and a smaller writer's studio. Outside there is a 50 ft. lap pool, a hot tun and a small olive grove.We are surrounding by trees off a country road. We are on 2 acres with quiet neighbors on both sides and whose homes are hidden by the tress.

Quartier

We are in the countryside, a neighborhood of individual homes and vineyards. We are only 3 miles from the road that traverses Sonoma Valley and 65 miles from San Francisco. There are many close by areas wherein to walk (our road is a 1 mile walk) and bike. There are several health clubs in the area and most important, there are innumerable wineries within a 25 miles radius and some that are in walking distance (4 miles).

À propos de nous

We are a retired couple: my wife was a policy analyst and now a painter and I was in the wine business and now a writer. We travel in the winter, the past 4 years in France. My wife speaks very good French, good enough to talk to the butcher in Paris.

Destination

We are interested in Paris and the French countryside. We are open to non-simultaneous exchanges
