Maison

The main house as well as the surrounding park needed 10 years to be fully restored , with all modern appliances and commodities ; this place is now a perfect base to visit the country side , the various old and typicall villages or vineyards around and enjoye relaxing evening BBQ
There are two independant apartments accomodating 4 or 3 guests , both fully equipped including linens and BBQ !
The propert is located at the entry of a village with shops and all services from barber to flowers , doctors etc
Half an hour to reach Toulouse and all its attractive activities , theaters , museums , parks ... and same distance to Albi well known for the Toulouse-Lautrec museum
Also , besides several vineyards , one can enjoye visiting old fortified villages , with lots of craftmans , restaurants , local markets and events

Quartier

The house is located at the entry of the village , surrounded by a 15 acres park : one feel out of the world , but need only 5 minutes walk to be in the center of the village

We are early retired , and can now spend more time finishing restoring details of our 17e century house
My wife loves searching for the most appropriate color or object fitting here or there ; I have to spend a little bit of time keeping the grass down , or maintaining trees ! This doesnot prevent me from playing bridge as often as i can ...

Destination

Generally speaking , we like to travel between Feb & May , or September to November ; But we adjust our travel dates , as we prefer to be there when there are visitors : in any case , our hosts are really totally on their own , as the house and apartments is organised adequately , but we like to be able to give them some guidance and informations on what/where/when to visit around !
