spacious and modern inside, enjoying panoramic views of lakeland fells (mountains) from both front and back.
Located in the beautiful and friendly village of Braithwaite which lies 5 minutes drive from the market Town of Keswick. Keswick enjoys a vibrant nightlife scene with great restraunts and pubs.
Braithwaite itself has 3 quaint pubs renowned locally for their good quality food and is ideally situated for embarking on some of the lakes most picturesque walks.
Braithwaite also lies within a 3 mile radius of 2 popular lakeland lakes that provide various watersports for the more active.
We can provide tennis equipment and access to our local tennis courts if required as well as bikes for those who wish to explore the local sights or experience the adrenaline raising mountain biking routes.
The house itself comprises of 3 bedrooms (double and 2 twins), lounge (gas fire, satalite TV) modern kitchen recently installed/dinning room, summer lounge, downstairs toilet, Bathroom, nicely maintained garden and decked area (beautiful to sit there in the summer with views of the Coledale horseshoe).

Small, friendly village always welcoming of tourists.
Great base for those wishing explore and experience what the English lake district has to offer.

Me and my wife are both in our early fifties. I myself are retired but my wife Linda still works in the Nursing profession.
Olive's Cottage is our second home which lies in close proximety of our current residence so exchanges don't have to be at the same time if preferred. This would mean that we can be there on hand for assistance and to also help your English Lakes holiday be an enjoyable experience.
