The screened porch, called a Lanai in sub-tropical Florida, looks directly west by southwest, overlooking the fruit trees in the backyard (pick your own breakfast!) and glimpses' of gulf waters thru the houses. You are only a 5 minute walk to the beach, or the same 5 minutes by car to the award winning Lovers Key State Park.

Fort Myers Beach is a lively place for vacationing tourists and fun. If you are looking for a quite vacation, then our end of the beach is the place to be. It is a quite friendly type of neighborhood. Some neighbors live there full time, other split their time between two or more homes.

The city has a beach shuttle if you want to venture to where the action is. Otherwise it is a short drive to restaurants, groceries or golf. Your neighbors are older adults, with few children if any.

You can see the Gulf of Mexico through the houses, and the egrets or eagles nesting in the tall trees.
