Our 8 year old duplex town house has two bedrooms with two bathrooms (two showers and one bath), two WC, the Master with large en suite bathroom. Open plan large lounge dining opening onto north facing balcony with breathtaking views the pounding surf breaking onto Tura Beach and of Tura golf course, lounge/dining and Master bedroom all have north facing windows to allow warm winter sun to seep in. We take great pride in our house and it is neat very clean and tidy and would respect and take care of anyone else’s house we stayed in. Gas heater, TV/DVD/Radio/CD, gas top cooker and fan forced oven

Tura Beach is 5 minutes drive from Merimbula which is the crowning gem of Australia's Sapphire Coast. Located at the halfway point between Melbourne and Sydney, you can fly into Merimbula ( Airport less than 10 minutes from the house) 1 hr flight from either Sydney or Melbourne Airport, or it's about a 6hrs from Sydney (via Canberra 3½ hr from house) or 7½ hour car drive from Melbourne.
This Coastal tourist town is the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches, rainforests, lagoons, and mountains of the South Coast NSW. The township of Merimbula is situated overlooking the lagoon (5 minutes drive from the house) and has some great cafes, restaurants and cinema. Activities available include walking/bushwalking, (lovely boardwalk walk around lagoon (see pic) canoeing, golfing, (two golf courses one close our house- see photo- ) swimming, surfing ,sailing, boating, fishing, scuba diving, snorkelling, whale sightseeing at certain times of the year or just plain relaxing.

We are in our late 50’s soon to be retired lawyer and retired marketing manager. We love travel family and friends. We have three married children in Sydney Auckland and Melbourne our first grandson is in Sydney and our daughter is about to have a baby in November in Auckland. Our favourite activity is walking and when it can be combined with beautiful scenery we are in heaven.

Destination

Happy with a non-simultaneous exchange, dates can be flexible with us Merimbula is available now until 22 November then 1-19 December 2008 or can be negotiated from 1st March 2009. We will only be in NZ from mid Nov to 18 December 2009 this time. Need a swap Auckland environs or further north. Our daughter is having first child in mid November and lives Freemans Bay/Ponsonby in Auckland.
