Maison

One-year old two-story townhouse in gated community available for swap. The home, which has central A/C, fiberoptic phone and cable, and satellite tv, has three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The main living area, which includes a kitchen, half bath, living room, and dining room is located on the first floor. It is fully furnished and includes a large assortment of dishes, utensils, countertop appliances, etc so that you may cook at home.

All bedrooms are on the second floor. The master bedroom has a queen size sleigh bed and two walk in closets (one of which is completely empty). The master bath, which is off the master bedroom, has a walk-in shower stall, separate garden tub, two sinks, and a separate room for the toilet. The guest room has a queen bed and also has an empty closet (although not walk-in). The third bedroom is currently used as an office, but has a full-size Ikea futon. The guest room and office share the second bathroom, which has a combination shower/tub.

There is a one-car garage and a 2005 2 door VW Beetle Convertible will be available for use. It can be left at the Southwest Florida International Airport, which is only 15 minutes from the house, so that you have a ride home.

Quartier

The home is located in a new subdivision surrounded by lakes and preserve. There is a community pool available for use which, together with the landscaping, is maintained by the association. It is only 15 minutes from the local beaches, 20 minutes from downtown Fort Myers, and 40 minutes from downtown Naples. Excellent shopping and fine dining is all only a short drive away.

I am a land use and environmental attorney practicing in downtown Fort Myers. In my spare time I like to volunteer and spend time with my two dogs--a lab mix and a fox terrier. I love to travel but have not been very many places. I am hoping that my participation in this program will provide me with the opportunity to see all that the world has to offer!

Destination

These dates are flexible. Ideally I would like to swap sometime in July, August, or September. A simultaneous swap is required, although you are welcome to stay in the guest room even if I am in town! :)
