Maison

This is a two-floor, three-bedroom airy apartment on the third floor of a walk-up.

First floor: A spacious living room/dining area (table + chairs, couch, recliner), full kitchen (oven, stove, fridge, table + chairs, toaster), two bathrooms (one with shower) and bedroom/office (pull-out couch), as well as a porch attached (with table and chairs).

Second floor: two bedrooms, (the master, with double bed, leads to a small porch with chairs, the other is a TV/DVD room with a futon-like mattress that folds out to become double), and a full bathroom and laundry area, with a second large porch attached.

The building is fairly new (under ten years). It's a quiet building, as well as kid-friendly. There is no air conditioning, but it’s really unnecessary: there is a wonderful cross-breeze with the windows open and in this area, there is usually a cool breeze.

There is plenty of parking outside.

Quartier

This is an apartment in Tzur Hadassah, a small town about 15 minutes outside of Jerusalem. It’s settled in the hills between Jerusalem and Bet Shemesh. Surrounding it are tons of nature parks with trails and campgrounds. Great for people serious about hiking, camping, horseback riding, etc. The town itself is quiet, with a polite, friendly population and kid-friendly. There is a mini mart and medical clinic within Tzur Hadassah and sprinkled throughout are parks and gardens. There is also a small animal farm including horseback riding, as well as a restaurant/bar.

In the surrounding towns, there is a pool, horseback riding, wineries, and other recreational activities. Of course, Jerusalem is only a short drive away and Tel Aviv is about a 50 minute car ride away.

À propos de nous

We are a young couple with no kids and no pets. We keep the place clean and organized and are on good terms with out neighbors ;)

We moved to the area in February, and absolutely love it. On weekends we feel like we are up in the country vacationing in a B&B.

We speak English and Hebrew.
