Maison

Downstairs: living room (two sofas), modern kitchen diner (table for 8) and a small den (sofa, TV, surround sound, playstation).
Upstairs: double adults room, small room with either baby cot or single bed, a child's room (double bed). Small bathroom and small shower room. Small garden safe for children. At end of usually quiet road - but new building / construction site is near.

Quartier

Lots of nature walks. Village shop, bakery, post office, and 4 pubs. 4 km east (and within restaurant takeaway delivery limits) is Cockermouth - the most gorgeous traditional town, with lovely restaurants, pubs and tourist attractions. The Lake District is 5 km away - with world famous scenery, lakes and mountains and the famous town of Keswick. Also 0km away is the sea in the pretty village of Allonby. The coastal towns of Whitehaven, Workington and Maryport are all close by, and the border city of Carlisle is just 40 minutes away with Scotland right next door - close enough for an afternoon visit.

À propos de nous

Mark is 42 and Fran is 35, with 6 year old boy (Adam) and 2 year old girl (Holly). Fran is a school teacher and Mark works in a furniture shop. We enjoy family days out together in the local area. In the evenings we watch films with a good bottle of wine and good food. Anyone with children would enjoy our home - we have plenty of games and toys to suit all ages with two living rooms. The house is very child friendly. No pets live here. We are non smokers.

We are open to all offers. We have successfully swapped before in France and references are available.
