Home unit is only 8 years old, modern and in mint condition. Has security alarm, security front gate and security doors.

Quartier

My home is in the vibrant suburb of Shenton Park/Subiaco. Plenty of cafes and restaurants for excellent dining either alfesco or inside. The City of Subiaco has a cinema complex, and theatre for world class shows. A shopping strip that is the envy of many suburbs. Subiaco/Shenton park is an inner city suburb and a very sought after area to live. A railway station just 15 minutes walk from my place will take you directly into the centre of the City.
Only 5 minutes walk to Kings Park with magnificent views overlooking the city and the river.

I am a retired lady very early 60s and consider myself to be active in all aspects of the community.

I am a Councillor with the City of Subiaco and also a Justice of the Peace and my time is taken up doing both of these voluntary duties. I also volunteer one day a week at the Citizens Advice Bureau.

A friend and I are coming to London just before Christmas and looking for a place from 1 January until about the end of January, 2009. My friend has her elderly father living in Windsor however we would prefer a place in central London in easy reach of all the attractions and shows.

Destination

I am interested in the London area only as I wish to be able to visit the galleries etc and go to shows. I would really like a minimum of 30 days but I realise British people do not have the same length of holiday that Australians have so would be prepared to consider any offers.
