Maison

Our house is a old switzer-type villa from the early 1900s.
It is located on it's own with no close neighbours, but still sentral with walking distanse to main attractions.

It has a large garden with lawn, trees and misc flowers. There is also swings and sandbox for the kids as well as a bonfire place.

We have three bedrooms. One with double bed, one with daybed and drawer with matress and one for children with a small bed (130 cm) and a bed for smaller children with high sides.
In the living room you find a sleaping couch that fit 2.

The bathroom has a bath tub with shower and a nursing drawer for babies. We have a washing machine and drier.

The kitchen is normaly equipped with an open solution.

The living room is resently renovated and very nice with a mix of old and new.

Quartier

Melsomvik is a small, old harbour with charming houses and the possibility to rent boats and go fishing from shore as well as going to the beach.
We live on a hill just 20 minutes walk from the sea.

This is a perfect place as starting point for daytrips.

By car you are only 15 minutes away from both Tonsberg and Sandefjord witch both are lively summer towns with shows, conserts and festivals.
Oslo can be reached in 1,5 hours.
If you would like to visit the mountains you can reach eg Kongsberg or Telemark in about 2 hours by car.

All kinds of stores and train station you can find in Stokke, 25 minutes walk from our house.

The closest airport is Torp, Sandefjord(TRF) with destinations throughout Europe.
Rygge and Gardermoen airports are also within a few hours to reach.

À propos de nous

We are a married couple with to kids age 5 and 1. We also have a cat.
We work as maritime engineer on a ship and as gardener. This gives us long periods of off time where we have the possibility to travel, weekends or longer stays.


We are open to swap cars as well, but no need.

Destination

Due to the nature of our work dates are flexible.
