Maison

Very sunny flat(3 rooms), 2nd and last floor. No lift. Building of 6 flats: mostly inhabited by French citizens. Quiet area. Very centrally located 5mn walk from the beach:5mn walk shops, supermarket, taxis, restaurants. 16 km fromTunis/Carthage airport. Travel cost by taxi: 3 eur (one way). La Marsa is residence of europeans: diplomats, French teachers,expariates, retired europeans. Golf terrains and luxurious hotels: 5kms away.
Train to Tunis 20km, every 15mn. Famous Medina and Souks.
Carthage 3 kms far, famous with Museums and ruins, hosts the presidential palace. Thus, the whole area is fully secured :la Goulette- Carthage- Sidi Bousaid- La Marsa.
Clinique (private hospital) El Amen is not far, efficient and well managed.

Quartier

Most of neighbors are europeans. The building is situated in residential area of la Marsa, but centrally located. Shoping, restaurants, beach, train station to Sidi Bousaid, Carthage, La Goulette, Tunis every 15 mn, taxis, : 5 mn walk. Carrefour supermarket, is located 5 kms away, but 2 other big shops are not far : Champion and Monoprix.

We are swiss family that loves order and cares about other pepople's things. Couple, former accountant/auditor with famous firms and banks in CH, and geographer. Son 12 years old. We are temporarily living in Tunisia, left Lausanne 2,5 years ago. Languages : french, english and less german.
Summer 2009: Wir sind CH Familie, aus Lausanne, and möchten auch Deutschland (Stuttgart) besuchen während Juli oder August 2009.

Destination

We look for flat with 3 beds. Exchange is simulteneous in july and/ or august. Mainly : all Suisse Romande, Evian, Thonon, Annemasse, Stuttgart, London, Dublin. We can look into any suggestion. We can take holidays only in July or August as our son is going to a french school during the year.
