The home features a game room, large family room, modern kitchen, three comfortable bedrooms, two full baths with showers and tubs, two covered decks, garden, large private canal side lot, and two car garage .
Available with this home exchange are two vehicles. One a four door sedan, the other a sporty SUV!
This home is situated on large waterside lot with beautiful landscaping.
The living room has a tile-floor, fireplace, 32" HD flat screen television and surround sound, 200+ channel premium digital TV, TIVO™ digital tv recorder, DVD player, and Playstation 2. This room opens up onto a quaint porch, overlooking a wooded area and canal front. Take a kayak and paddle into the sound or enjoy the ducks and geese! Off the covered patio is a fenced in patio area with a gas grill.

I love where I live. I grew up vacationing to this paradise 30 years ago. This area is known as "The Outer Banks of North Carolina". The area is well known for being the top beaches in the United States. It is historically best known for the Wright Brothers and being the location of the First Flight. This home is situated in a beautiful waterside resort community. We are only a short walk from our private oceanfront beach access, major shopping areas, day spas, restaurants, golf course, tennis courts, marina, and soundfront beach. You can even launch the kayaks from the backyard! The beaches here are beautiful, with warm gulf stream waters best known for their privacy and world class surfing, wind surfing, kite boarding, hang gliding, kayaking, and fishing. Everything is within walking distance:The beaches are private and only a short walk from home! There are dozens of restaurants and stores within a short walk too! There are 4 bikes to help yourself to miles of bike paths! The community is known for being the most sought after community to live and raise a family on the island and is also the most desired area for vacation home owners and even a few celebrities. This area is perfect for beach & water lovers with over 150 miles of barrier island beaches. It is also located within an hour and 15 minutes of Norfolk , Virginia and only a few hours from Washington DC, Richmond, Raleigh, and a short flight from New York City & Florida.

I am an accomplished film maker, writer, and advertising executive. When I am not working, I love to enjoy the outdoors and all sports, particularly: surfing, biking, hiking, kayaking, kiteboarding, and hockey. I also love art, music, and movies. I have done several home exchanges and it has been a fantastic experience! I am intersted in a home exchange because I am working on a book and documentary film on unique travel experiences. Destination

I am flexible with dates and open to any area. This does not have to be a simultaneous exchange. I love Europe and have an interest in France, Italy, Spain, Ireland , United Kingdom, and Switzerland in particular but I am open travel anywhere!
