Maison

The home is 1600 sq ft with beautiful furnishings. It is the upper floor of the house with our daughter and granddaughter living on the ground level. The views from the decks at the front and back are of lovely mountain scenery. There are three bedrooms but one is converted as a sewing/craft room. The main bedroom has a queen bed and a full ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and it houses our "office" with DSL/wireless internet and scanner/fax/printer.

Our home is in a very convemient area of Penticton which is one of Weatern Canada's favourite vacation destinations with lovely lakes, mountains and all sorts of summer and winter activities.

Quartier

There is a park directly opposite the house: the convenience store and bus is two hundred metres. We are about half a kilometre from the wilderness with stunning hiking/biking trails leading to world-class rock climbing. Penticton downtown is about three kms and so are the lakes and beaches. Apex downhill and Nickle Plate cross-country skiing are about 30/40 mins. driving.

We are a retired couple in our 60's. My wife and I have travelled extensively in our 41 years of marriage and have worked and lived in many different parts of the world. My wife's career was in accounting/bookkeeping and mine in computer programming/I.T project management.

We can assure you that we will look after your home as well as you do and would expect the same in return. We prefer to exchange cars too: we have a 2009 Pontiac Vibe (a.k.a. Toyota Matrix) and a 2004 Chrysler Sebring convertible for the wonderful summer weather.
