Maison

Our modern, cosy family house is surrounded by a very unique private garden. Visitors can enjoy their morning coffee or an al fresco dinner in the evening on our terrace our under the veranda. Our house is a recently (and lovingly) restored and comfortably furnished. There is an interior open air and lots of light. The house features: a master bedroom with king-size bed, three other bedrooms, bathroom, fully furnished modern kitchen, new washer and dryer, a new dishwasher, television, stereo, salon, dining room and bikes

Quartier

Our house is located in Aalsmeer. Very lively all year round. Whe have two neighbours; one charming couple and one single mother with her son (17 years old). Aalsmeer is famous with the biggest flower auction in the world wich you can also visit. Our town is a nice base for exploring Amsterdam. It's a unique combination of small town atmposphere and the hustle and bustle of the big city. Amsterdam lies on 20 kilometer distance. And our house lies 15 minutes from the amsterdam airport. When you walk five minutes you can enjoy the beautefull lake "The westeinder Plassen" Whit a lot of water sport activities. You can swim, surf and sail in the summer. And also the beach is only a fourty minutes drive away

We are a family of 4. I am Carla, I work as an interieur designer. I love it to make a house beautiful , cosy and bright! You see my work also in our home, wich I decorated with love.
I have 3 children, Rosalie (17), Iris (13) and Christiaan (16). We love to travel and see all places in the world. Home exchanging is such a good way for doing that. You do not only see the touristic places but the real environment! We have done some exchanges yet and have still a lot of contact with the people we exchanged with.
