Maison

The apartment is located at the third floor of a building and it has been renewed in 2003. It is small but with a cosy feel.
There is one bedroom with double bed, a complete bathroom with a large shower, a living room with 32" flat tv and dvd player and a kitchen completely equipped with oven, fridge, espresso and cappuccino maker and washing machine.
In the living room there is a brand new big sofa that can be transformed in a bed for two people.
There is air conditioning in all the rooms.



Quartier

Think Florence and think Tuscany. Scarperia is one of the most interesting historic centers in the Mugello zone, an inland Tuscan valley situated only 30 kms from the beautiful city of Florence. The town is part of “the nicest old cities in Italy” network and the house is located in the main road. Mugello offers endless opportunities for lovers of hiking excursions on foot, by bike and on horseback.
Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Arezzo and several other art cities and towns are within easy reach.
Mugello itself boasts a wealth of art treasures: churches, shrines, castles and historic villas, small museums.
Whatever the time of the year, Mugello is rich of cultural, sporting and traditional events. The Summer months are an endless chain of country fairs and folk festivals.
The Mugello International Racing Circuit is situated 1 km away and it attracts thousands of motoring and motorcycling enthusiasts with a rich program of events spanning from April to the beginning of November. The best loved event is usually the Italian Grand Prix of the del MotoGP world championship, taking place in early June.
Take the local bus into Florence and save yourself the hassle of parking . It's a 40 minute ride and takes you right into the centre of town.
A big Mc-Arthur & Glenn outlet is located 15 kms away, where you can find Prada, D&G, Missoni, Guess…
35 kms away you can find “The Mall”: Armani, Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Valentino, La Perla are just some of the brands.
Bilancino Lake is 10 kms away and it offers areas for swimming as well as for water sports such as canoeing, windsurfing and sailing, bars for chilling out and eating.

I live in a quiet street and friendly neighborhood. It's the perfect spot if you're looking for an escape from a very busy city!
Down the road you will find everything you need, grocery shops, supermarket, weekly market and a good choice of restaurants and pizzerias with delicious Italian food.
There is a fishing lake 5 minutes away
