The apartment overlooks the historic Calton Hill - one of Edinburgh's most famous landmarks. Leopold Place is in the City Centre, about 5 mins walk from Princes and George Streets - the city's main shopping areas. It is also part of Edinburgh's 'East Village' with excellent local delis, grocers, butchers and fishmongers. Close by is a Virgin Gym and a multiplex cinema. The area is well served by public transport and the main train station at Waverley is about 8 mins walk. This is the perfect place for professionals moving to Edinburgh who dont want to sell their home in London and who want to avoid the problems of renting either end.

We are moving to London for a couple of years and are looking for someone with a nice home in London to swap homes with. I left the BBC last year to train as an actor and will be doing some further training in north London from October 2008 for 1 year, so we'd like to live somewhere central or on the Paddington/Camden/Highbury boundary. My partner is an e-commerce entrepreneur. We'd like to swap with someone who has a passion for beautiful things and who will cherish all the hard work we put into making this place wonderful.
