Maison

Situated in a safe and quiet neighborhood, our home provides guests the feeling of actual leaving in a Mexican city; you will be immersed in its culture and your visit will include our live in maid (if needed). We own a small dog, her name is Lola but she is not allowed inside of our home.

Although the home has no air conditioning, it is rarely needed in San Luis because the weather is usually around 70. Our home is beautifully decorated, and it has all the amenities to make your visit and ideal vacation. Second floor has 3 bedrooms, master bedroom has a king size bed and a single beds on the other two. Free Internet service, cable TV is included. Driver is available if needed for an additional cost.

Home is close to shopping and 10 minutes from historic downtown, 20 minutes from the airport.




Quartier

The Centro zone, where the capital of the state is located, is the most prosperous region of the state and one of the most beautiful of the country. This zone greets its visitors with monumental architecture, impressive pink stone baroque facades, plazas (squares), parks and gardens inviting you to rest and enjoy the view.

San Luis Potosí City was founded in 1592. The city was soon renown as one of the richest and most important cities in the New Spain, because of the wealth extracted from the mines in “Cerro de San Pedro” (Saint Peter’s hill).

Nowadays San Luis Potosí can be considered a modern city, however, it has not yet lost its colonial character, mixing present and past.

There are a great variety of artistic and cultural activities, many of which, thanks to the city’s wonderful weather, can be enjoyed outdoors. The city also offers several commercial centers (malls), displaying many different products, from designers’ brands to handcrafts and folkloric art.

San Luis is 2 hours away from famous cities like Guanajuato, San Miguel Allende, Queretaro, Zacatecas, and Leon & Aguascalientes. And only 4 to 5 from the most important cities in Mexico: Monterrey, México City and Guadalajara.

A driver can safely arrange to take you to any of this beautiful cities and our international airport also provides our guests the ability to connect to not only other Mexican towns, but also any international destination.

I am a single mother of 2 wonderful kids ages 14 and 12. I have been fortunate to been abroad on many occasions, have visited most continents, and had the pleasure of leaving in the US for 11 years (near Chicago), in Switzerland (Lausanne for 1 year), France (Grenoble & Melun (3 months). I work full time as Public Relations Director, enjoy weekends gardening, reading or spent outdoors.

I would love to have the opportunity to show my children other cultures, there is no better way than to live in someone's home to experience what life is really like for them.

Our home might not be the most common vacation spot in the world, but it does provide an unforgettable experience for anyone since you can not only enjoy the actual experience of leaving as a Mexican but you can easily visit other cities.
