Maison

The house itself consist of 3 floors. It has a living room (including sleeping sofa for 2) with open kitchen and a master bedroom and children’s room on the first floor. The attic is momentarily used for washing and storage. There is also a garden with plenty of space to sit down and have a drink or have dinner in the summer. A bathroom and 2 toilets are present.
And of course, there is plenty of BABY equipment ( cot, highchair, changing unit , toys etc.)

Quartier

Our house in Holland is in the picturesque, historical village of Abcoude, just on the edge of Amsterdam.It is extremely close to the city but much nicer in the summer. The village is very lively and has a local pub/restaurant where on can enjoy the views at the terrace along the river.

From our house you will be able to travel anywhere in Holland since the train-station lies across the road. It takes around 15 minutes to get directly to the centre of Amsterdam or Utrecht.
The advantage to Amsterdam (centre) is also that there is plenty of parking-space and it is free. Parking in Amsterdam is madness and pretty expensive as well.

Also, there is a lot of natural beauty to explore in the direct environment. The village centre is just a short walk. We also have wonderful bicycles.

À propos de nous

We are Matthijs en Estella, and we have 2 daughters (Lola 1 year old and Nina 6 years old). Matthijs is a webdesigner and Estella (former webdesigner) is mainly mother at the moment but also freelance tarot-reader and web-designer.
Nina is going to school therefore we are bound to school holidays!
Because we have a baby we do not want to do long-distance flights yet.

WE ALREADY HAVE EXCHANGES FOR SUMMER 2008!!!! But we are still open to offers for summer 2009!!! We are still interested in an exchange during the XMAS 2008 vacation

Apart from that, we open to offers for long weekends , a week in october (mid) or Christmas.
We don't want to do long distance flights with the baby yet and would prefer it if the location was child-friendly and close to facilities due to a lack of car/ driver's license.
