Maison

- four bedroom upper floor of a two family house on the shore of the Adriatic sea, with large garden
-Karigador is a very small town located between Novigrad and Umag on the Histrian peninsula . Our house is fully renovated in contemporary Mediterranean style with LCD TV and wireless Internet access
-outside granite staircase leads to the second floor
-modern kitchen with dishwasher microwave and all the appliances, dishes and a dining area
-living room opens on to a large balcony with lounge chairs, gas grill , a round table and chairs overlooking the sea
-two bedrooms with king size beds
-one bedroom with queen size bed
-one bedroom with full size bed

-two full bathrooms have body-jet showers and steam showers
-air conditioner in the living room and screens on all bedroom windows ;the nights are cooler
-washing mashine in the basement, line drying in the garden
large garden behind the house has a gazebo with a round table-seats 10 a charcoal grill, sink and a shower
-two car parking in the shade
This is our second home and we spend a lot of time here. We hope that our guests will enjoy it as much as we do and take good care of the home as we will do the same in the exchange home.

Quartier

The Histrian part of Croatia is very similar to Tuscany and has been referd to in travel magazines as the "undiscovered gem". There are vineyards, small hisotryc towns, art colonies, truffles and in addition we have the blue Adriatic sea. In Karigador you can enjoy life of a small town, walk to the grocery store and restaurants, buy local wine and produce from the farmers and get fresh fish from the fishing boats at the dock.There are aditional farmer's markets and restaurants in the towns of Novigrad and Umag that are five kilometers away.
A world heritage town of Pula is only 45 KM drive and it offers musical performances in the roman amphitheater. We are only 200 KM from Venice.
Postojna caves and the original lipicaner horse farm are 65 KM to the north.
Ljubljana-the capital of Slovenia and Bled a charming alpine resort are within 200 KM

À propos de nous

My husband Slavko and I -Cirila- have two grown children who will sometimes travel with us. Slavko is a dedicated track and field coach and has had an athlete compete in Olympic games and I am a textile engineer an have a small business. We have traveled extensively for business and pleasure and are interested in home exchange so that we can experience new places and their local atmosphere and people.

Destination

We are flexible with dates. In Europe, we are ready to do shorter exchanges ( 7-10 days).
