Maison

The apartment is situated conveniently near the city center of Vienna. There is the green and scenic river close by and you can take a stroll along the water for about 10 - 15 minutes and reach some of the major sights of Vienna: the Ringstraße, St. Stephen's Cathedral and the elegant shopping street Kärntner Straße.

The apartment consists of a living room, bedroom, bathroom with bathtub and washing machine, kitchen and a small working space with state of the art computer equipment and 24 hours internet available.
All rooms have high ceilings, large windows and are very quiet because all windows are facing a little green yard. The apartment is on the first floor (no elevator).

The kitchen includes an oven, refrigerator and dishwasher plus some cooking equipment but it's much nicer to sample some of the restaurants in the neighborhood. Especially in spring / summer there is great cuisine close by down at the riverside with cafes and restaurants and also in the park Augarten nearby with an open-air cinema.

Quartier

The neighborhood is very safe, quiet and green as the apartment is only 2 minutes from the Augarten Park famous for the porcelain factory and the Viennese Boys`Choir and 1 minute away from the river. 5 minutes from the subway U4 and 10 minutes walk to the first district of Vienna (city center with all the major sights).

In spring / summer there is great cuisine close by at the riverside with cafes and restaurants at the well-known Summerstage and also in the Augarten Park with an open-air cinema.

À propos de nous

We are Frederik (32) and Angela (31), a couple who enjoys travelling to all known and unknown destinations. Travelling is a way of life and we would like to get a better insight into the culture by exploring cities and countryside on our own.

Frederik works in sales management for a publishing company and Angela works in the law and IT-field of a major Austrian company specialising in e-government services.

Destination

We would like to spend 6 days at the Cote d'Azur from 21st until 27th August.
But we are also open to suggestions for new places.

We are also looking for an exchange for New Year's Eve 2008/2009 anyplace in Europe, for example Paris, Nice, Rome, Madrid, Barcelona, ... and also a weekend in Europe at the end of September 2008.


We would like to arrange a simultaneous exchange. As we have completed several exchanges during the last years in Europe, we are familiar with all the advantages of a homeexchange and treat the property of others with respect.
